Why did you choose this book because I had gone to see the movie, I want to see if they were different to the movie.This is my short description of what the book is about.

The book is about a boy named Greg. One day when his mum when shopping she bought him a  journey to write down his feels. On the first day of school when he went into his class and took a seat . After he sat down the teacher told him to movie and he was stuck in between to dumb hand( in his words not mine). One day he went to were the cheeeeeese is, The cheeeeese it for someones sandwich . The book takes place in a city call crosse lands.  The main characters in the story and describe them.  Greg

Greg is a boy who writes everything down in his journey (diary) and try to fit in with the cool group be he can’t and the only reason he does to look cool in front of the cool girls. Give the story a mark out of 10 and say why.

I give this book a 10/10 because it was really cool and it didn't get boring  to me after the first page our two and it was good book that i could understand and read easily .
